MOUNTAIN is a school of life, you learn what commitment and effort means to achieve a goal, you learn to share the joys of a climb and the sadness of giving up with other people, you learn what is the deepest friendship and to live intense moments that will accompany you throughout your life, you learn to admire, you learn to appreciate the importance of health and to understand how lucky we are compared to other people, you also learn to be alone, to confront yourself, to face yours fears and weaknesses to try to overcome them, not to take the longer step of the leg ... If then a person has a slightly sensitive soul, then it may happen, upon returning from a climb, a trip or a simple walk to stop in a lawn, along a path, under a tree, lie down and stay there, reflect and understand how little a person needs to feel happy. All this helps me for everything that is my life beyond the mountain, for what is important to me: family, friends, commitments, work.
My name is MARCO MAGANZINI, born in 1979, residing in Giustino in the beautiful, precious and unique Rendena Valley - Trentino. Since I was a child I have had the good fortune of being able to learn to attend and appreciate the mountains thanks to the teachings of my dad Giancarlo and my uncle Rino. I still remember how the endless walks in the woods were yesterday during the carefree summer seasons spent on the mountain hut, my first time in Presanella, my first times in the Brenta Dolomites at the XII Apostoli refuge and through the "Bocchette Via Ferrata", as well as my first steps on the Adamello glacier and the first time in the Rifugio Lobbie ...
What luck and what a privilege to be able to grow in such a beautiful valley for a person who loves the mountain and who sees in it a gym of life like no other: a few kilometers away you can go from the desperate verticality of the Dolomites to the eternal glaciers of Adamello-Presanella group! After my scientific high school diploma I graduated in Economics and Commerce (2004), then, after completing the training cycle in autumn 2008, I obtained the qualification diploma for the profession of GUIDE ALPINA U.I.A.G.M.
My family manages a clothing, footwear and equipment store for mountains and leisure time in Pinzolo: Eurosport. When I am not busy in the mountains, you can find me there, excited to be able to guide you on "alpine" adventures, be they horizontal or vertical!
